Lídia Abdalla, president of Grupo Sabin, works in diagnostic medicine and health in Brazil, says in an exclusive interview in the UOL Líderes series that it is necessary to encourage and stimulate the Brazilian industry to produce inputs and, thus, have more independence in relation to the products that come out.
According to her, during the pandemic, “we run the risk of shortages of protective equipment, such as masks, gloves, supplies, which could have been manufactured and produced in Brazil”. The head of the Sabin Group spoke about the need for health system integration, how the aging of health insurance policyholders makes products expensive and the future of hybrid health care.
