The Federal Revenue extended to June 30 the deadline for submission of the DASN-SIMEI (Simplified Annual Declaration for the MEI) for calendar year 2021. The measure was published today in the Official Gazette of the Union.
According to the Revenue, the change of dates “is intended to avoid the accumulation of obligations in a short space of time”.
The deadline for joining the Relp (Program for Rescheduling Payment of Debts in the Scope of Simple Nacional), a program that allows the renegotiation of debts of micro and small companies and individual microentrepreneurs affected by the pandemic in 2020, was also extended. on Relp until May 31st.
In this case, the extension was necessary for the adequacy of the calendar, until its source of compensation is defined.
The IRS also extended the deadline for settling Simples Nacional debts.
“The deadline for settlement of debts impeding the option for Simple Nacional was also postponed, changing from April, to the last working day of May. This extension will allow taxpayers to use Relp as a form of regularization of impeding debts”, he informed. in a note to the IRS.
All measures were adopted after a meeting of the Simples Nacional Management Committee.
