The Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the city of São Paulo rose 1.72% in the third four weeks of April, repeating the variation of the second four weeks of this month, according to data published this Wednesday by the Economic Research Institute Foundation (Fipe) .
In the third reading of April, four of the seven components of the IPC-Fipe gained strength: Food (from 3.34% in the second four weeks to 3.53% in the third four weeks), Personal Expenses (from 1.24% to 1.52% ), Health (from 0.37% to 0.43%) and Clothing (from 0.94% to 0.99%).
On the other hand, the items Housing (from 1.02% to 0.77%) and Transport (from 2.24% to 2.15%) decelerated from one four-week period to the other.
The item Education had an increase of 0.12% in the third quadrissemana, as in the previous survey.
