The information was given this Wednesday (27) by the Minister of Labor and Welfare, José Carlos Oliveira, and by the president of the INSS, Guilherme Gastaldello Pinheiro Serrano.
According to the president of the INSS, the measure provides for the payment of R$ 57.50 for each analyzed process that exceeds the server’s initial goal. Currently, on average, the INSS server has the goal of analyzing about 90 cases per month.
According to the agency’s estimates, the server has the potential to double the service, that is, carry out 90 more processes in the month, which would increase the employee’s income by R$ 5.1 thousand. The average salary of the agency today is around R$ 9.8 thousand.
Won’t clear the queue
The main objective of the measure, according to the president of the INSS, is to help reduce the body’s process queue, which currently stands at around 1.6 million pending issues.
“Since November 2021 we have been able to reduce the stock and the MP comes with the idea of being able to leverage even more”, said Serrano.
Despite this, the Minister of Labor, who preceded the president of the INSS in office, stated that the bonus alone does not solve the queue problem and that it is necessary to work on structuring measures. “The training of the INSS is salvation,” he said.
According to Oliveira, the ministry bought and will offer specialization and master’s courses to civil servants, for example.
“We are making training policies that have never been done before. We want to raise the level of capacity of our servers, but this is a project with results in the medium and long term”, he said.
In addition, according to Oliveira, the INSS has articulated with DataPrev the automation of processes so that there is an adaptation for a better use of the bodies’ workforce.
Public tender request
The minister also stated that there is an expectation of opening a public tender to expand the body’s contingent, which currently has around 20,000 civil servants.
“We have the possibility of obtaining the opening of a public tender this year. It will not be in the number of vacancies that we asked for, but there is a possibility and this is on the radar of the Ministry of Economy,” he said.
According to Oliveira, the ministry requested the creation of 7,500 jobs.
Sought, the Ministry of Economy reported that “does not comment on demands related to selection processes forwarded by the bodies of the Federal Public Administration”. The folder also said that “it only authorizes the tender or temporary hiring”. “Scheduling and holding the event are up to each agency,” he said.
