Presenter Sabrina Sato did her best to fulfill a daring agenda at this year’s Carnival. Currently in front of the reality show Carnaval da Sabrina (GNT), the presenter paraded in two samba schools on the same night.
As if the breath that would be necessary for this were not enough, the two schools are located in different cities: Gaviões da Fiel, in São Paulo, and Vila Isabel, in Rio de Janeiro. To be able to fulfill her role as drum queen of the two schools with just a few hours between the two shows, she had to fly on a jet to follow the schedule to the letter. A flight like the presenter’s can cost up to R$200,000, depending on the chosen aircraft and the number of people on board.
prices
A flight between Guarulhos airport (SP) and Galeão airport (RJ), like the one carried out by the muse of samba schools, takes about 50 minutes. In a survey carried out at the beginning of the week after Carnival on the on-demand aviation platform Flapper, values ranging from about R$20,000 to R$200,000 were found.
The flight in a Cessna Grand Caravan, with capacity for up to nine seats, was found from R$18,270. He, however, is not a jet, but a turboprop.
Another of the most affordable alternatives is to fly in a King Air C90 plane, the same model as the accident of singer Marília Mendonça, in November 2021. With a capacity for up to six people, the journey in this turboprop costs around R$ 22,750.
The same flight, when carried out in an Embraer Phenom 300 executive jet, with capacity for up to nine people, costs around R$33,600. If done in a Cessna Citation CJ3, a jet with a capacity of up to seven seats, the value is R$ 45 thousand.
On the other hand, flying on a Global Express, a plane capable of taking up to 13 passengers on board, can cost up to R$208,440.
The route could still be done in a helicopter capable of night flight. This is the case of an AS350 (called Esquilo), with prices starting at R$32,000 and capacity for five passengers, or, still in an EC155, an executive model that takes up to nine passengers, costing around R$66. thousand the stretch.
Questioned by the report about which model of the plane and the value of the chartered flight, Sabrina Sato’s advice did not provide this data, but sent the schedule with the presenter’s times of day.
tight schedule
The flight made by Sabrina ensured that the muse of the samba schools performed with time to spare. At 0:30 on the 24th, she started the parade with Gaviões da Fiel.
This represented almost an hour of delay, since it was necessary to clean the track at the Anhembi Sambadrome (the school should have entered the avenue at 11:35 pm). At 1:10 am, Sabrina arrived at the dispersion and ran to get to Guarulhos airport, from where her flight took off at around 2 am.
At around 2:55 am, the presenter’s jet landed at Galeão airport, in Rio de Janeiro. Still there, she changed part of her costume and went to Sapucaí.
The Vila Isabel parade was also delayed, starting only at 4:44 am, according to Sabrina’s publicist.
