Iveco has won a contract for the supply of 253 Crossway Low Entry and Streetway city buses to Prague public transport operator DPP. The vehicles will be delivered between 2022 and 2027.
The public urban public transport company of Prague DPP awarded three lots of buses to Iveco of the Crossway Low Entry and Streeway models. The contract provides for the supply of up to 253 vehicles between 2022 and 2027. Under the terms of the agreement, DPP will acquire ten units of the 14.5 meter Crossway LE, up to 100 units of the 12 meter Streetway and up to 142 units of the 18 meter Streetway meters.
Both the Crossway and the Streeway benefit from the high reliability provided by the Cursor 9 engine developed by FPT Industrial. The patented HI-SCR technology allows the engine to comply with the Euro VI-e standard without a gas recirculation system, guaranteeing an efficiency of over 95% in the conversion of nitrogen oxides.
