Having become a global brand with its integration into Renault in 1999, Dacia has been experiencing remarkable growth, which now culminates in the achievement of yet another milestone: the production of the 10 millionth car.
Founded in 1966, Dacia thus marks another historic moment in its existence, with the production, at the Mioveni plant in Romania, of its 10 million car.
According to the Romanian brand, the 10 millionth vehicle is a Dacia Duster Extreme LE Urban Gray, which, as you can see, even had a “family photo” right off the assembly line.
The evolution of Dacia production, up to the 10 million mark
“We are very proud to have surpassed the symbolic mark of 10 million cars produced”, commented Dacia & Lada CEO Denis Le Vot, adding that, “this result rewards a pragmatic vision of the automobile, focused on what is really essential for our customers.”
Thus, “based on its experience, Dacia will continue to grow and offer attractive cars adapted to the lifestyle of our customers”, concludes the same official.

And which, having been launched in 1969, remained in service for 35 years.
