Adruzilo Lopes/Paulo Leones (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), a duo from Domingos sport, won the third of 10 events of the Promo Rally Championship, a competition that, with three rallies, had three different winners.
Fernando Teotónio/Luís Morgadinho (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), winners of the first rally of the year, in Vieira do Minho, were second in 1m07.2s, and with that they isolated themselves in command of the championship.
Third place for Fernando Peres/José Pedro Silva (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), they who had been second in the first race, getting ahead in the championship.
Gonçalo Henriques/António Santos (Peugeot 208 R2) were fourth and triumphed in the two-wheel drive, hitting the dirt floor of 4X4 cars.
Rui Borges/André Ventura (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) were fifth ahead of Gaspar Pinto/Bernardo Gusmão (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII), with Rui Santos Silva/João Sebastião (Subaru Impreza STi N15) finishing in seventh place,
Eighth place for Henrique Rodrigues/Daniel Rodrigues (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII), ahead of Eduardo Santos/Pedro Dias da Silva (Peugeot 208 R2), seconds from the 2RM. Closing the top 10, Alexandrino Dinis/Luís Ribeiro (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX), who passed Mário Castro/Ricardo Cunha (Ford Fiesta R2T) in the last stage, they were third in the 2RM.
Fernando Peres was the first leader, in the super special, but in the first stage of the morning of the second day, Adruzilo Lopes took the lead and opened a margin of 15.3 for Fernando Teotónio with Fernando Peres dropping to third at 20.1s.
In the two following stages, the positions, Adruzilo, Teotónio and Peres, remained in the stages, with the differences accentuating between the trio. At the end of the morning, Adruzilo Lopes led by 20.9s ahead of Fernando Teotónio, with Fernando Peres already more than a minute away. The same tune was maintained in the afternoon, with the difference increasing by more than one minute between first and second, with Fernando Peres delaying even further, finishing the rally 3m29.3s behind the winner.
