The Ford Mustang Mach-E has just received a series of hardware and software updates, through which not only its towing capacity has been increased, but also its driving comfort and functionality. As well as an improvement in loading time.
On sale in Europe, including Portugal, for more than a year, Ford’s North American electric crossover has thus undergone several hardware and software improvements. Of which, the most significant is, without a doubt, the increase in towing capacity with brakes, in the extended range versions with rear and all-wheel drive.
Thanks to this evolution, the Mustang Mach-E can tow up to one ton, a value that, according to the oval brand, should be enough to carry a typical small or medium-sized fiberglass fishing boat.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E now boasts a towing capacity of up to 1,000 kg, as well as faster battery charging
At the same time, the Ford Mustang Mach-E also received updates that allow it to reduce the charging time, between 80 and 90% of battery capacity, from 52 minutes to just 15 minutes.
Finally, this update also brings a recalibration of the single-pedal driving functionality, for even smoother performance, especially when at lower speeds. This, in addition to improvements in driver comfort.
