Although with both the Ocean SUV and the Pear compact, still far from dealerships and commercialization, Fisker Inc. has just announced the launch of a third 100% electric model for 2024 – a sporty Grand Tourer, for now, codenamed Project Ronin.
Announced as the third model of the still young new North American car brand, owned by designer Henrik Fisker, responsible for creating models such as the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin DB9 or the VLF Force 1 V10, this Project Ronin will follow. Fisker Ocean, a crossover based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform that is also Fisker Inc’s inaugural proposal, and the Pear, a compact saloon that, once on the market, should be the manufacturer’s high-volume model.
However, despite this growth effort, with a view to offering a true range of models, the truth is that none of them has reached dealerships yet.

As for the new Grand Tourer, which like the other brothers will opt for a 100% electric powertrain, will be developed by Fisker Magic Works, the manufacturer’s recently announced engineering center that will be installed in the United Kingdom and will be headed by the former head of Aston Martin’s special projects department, Dave King.
Announced in conjunction with a single image, the founder of Fisker Inc. confirmed that this Project Ronin will give rise to a Grand Tourer with just two doors and four seats, marked by a long front hood, as well as the use of advanced and lightweight materials, in order to be able to focus on aspects such as autonomy, performance and driving experience.

Furthermore, according to the startup based in the US state of California, the Ronin will have active aerodynamics, along with an innovative battery design, which will be integrated into the vehicle’s structure.
In statements reproduced by British Autocar, Fisker promises that this sporty GT will bear the spirit of “a true British sports car”, describing it as “a redefining of the luxury sports car of the future”. Thanks not only to doors that the same manager describes as unique, but also to an “advanced design” vegan interior.
To be presented in 2023
Finally, just mention that Fisker Inc. promises to reveal the Ronin within a little over a year, more precisely, in August 2023. With production starting, in principle, during the second half of 2024.
