QuintoAndar announced the hiring of Larissa Fontaine, ex-Google and Youtube, as the new product director of the property rental platform.
She made her career at Google in the United States, where she rose to the position of vice president and general manager of subscription cloud storage service One. At YouTube, she led business strategy development.
Fontaine has a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Stanford University in the United States. In addition to her executive career, she was a gymnast for the United States national team in the 1990s.
She will be based in Menlo Park, California (USA), and will report to Gabriel Braga, CEO of QuintoAndar.
Fontaine aims to lead the organization of the company’s product portfolio in different countries, according to a company statement.
Ex-Red Ventures to be VP of Broker Solutions
Another reinforcement in the team is Frederico Sant’Anna. He will be the new vice president of broker solutions. A mechanical engineer graduated from Unicamp (University of Campinas), he has worked at Red Ventures and McKinsey & Company – in the latter, he worked in England.
He also has an MBA from AMBS (Alliance Manchester Business School).
The executive will take care of several products aimed at real estate, such as Atta, ImovelWeb, Velo and Union’s CRM software.
Working from the São Paulo office, Sant’Anna will report to the company’s director of operations, Thiago Tourinho.
QuintoAndar’s hiring takes place less than a month after the dismissal of 160 employees.
