Starting with the BMW M, which, celebrating half a century of existence, promises important news!
Even chosen to embody the traditional sculpture that, in each of the festival’s editions, honors a prominent automotive brand, BMW’s competition and performance division has, moreover, already defined the way it promises to mark this year’s festival – nothing more, nothing less, than through the presentation of a new proposal M.
There will be several historic BMW M models to be present at Goodwood. But not only…
“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate our products, together with the brand’s fans,” BMW M CEO Frank van Meel said of the “choice” of Goodwood. . About this van, it is possible to say that it will have the same technical basis as the M3, although with more space for luggage, maintaining, however, the same six-cylinder 3.0 Twin-Turbo delivering 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque. also in the case of the Touring, combined, apparently, with an 8-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive.
Ruled out, however, is the possibility that this M3 Touring could only come with rear-wheel drive or even with a manual gearbox.
