For investors who have the nerve to withstand the ups and downs of the short term, Ativa Investimentos has prepared a weekly portfolio of five stocks to get quick returns.
In relation to last week’s portfolio, the company took the shares of retailer Americanas (AMER3), construction company MRV (MRVE3) and mining company Vale (VALE3). These assets were replaced by the aircraft manufacturer Embraer (EMBR3), the Magazine Luiza store chain (MGLU3) and the agricultural land acquisition, development and exploitation company, Brasil Agro (AGRO3).
In Ativa’s weekly portfolio, two shares are held: the sanitation company Sabesp (SBSP3) and the electric motor company Weg (WEGE3).
The performance of the portfolio was below the Ibovespa, the main index of the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3). While the portfolio lost 4.56%, the index ended the previous week down 0.75%.
Selection of recommended actions
The selection of stocks is done through graphics. The choice of Embraer (EMBR3), for example, is due to the fact that the paper has had a strong decline since January – which, according to the broker, is a sign of a reversal for the coming weeks.
Ativa estimates that the EMBR3 asset, currently costing R$13.22, could reach between R$14.10 and R$15 in the short term.
In the same way, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) has been experiencing intense lows during the week, closing close to the minimum prices. The action is discounted by more than 50% in the year. Therefore, according to Ativa, it is “expected a breather for the paper”, which should cost R$ 4 again. Today it is R$ 3.51. The same thesis served to maintain the bet on Weg’s share (WEGE3).
On the other hand, the choices made by Sabesp (SBSP3) and Brasil Agro (AGRO3) happen because the shares continue to work on the rise. The papers, according to Ativa, are “on a selling point during the week”. That is, it is time for investors to buy both stocks.
