Nyck de Vries was called up at the last minute to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the TDS Vaillante team, following the exclusion of Philippe Cimadomo, who after several accidents and incidents was prevented from racing by the Stewards, due to safety.
Obviously, not just anyone can race at Le Mans, and even if Cimadomo’s ‘credentials’ allowed it, what he did on the track in the first few sessions made many people frown and set the alarm bells ringing. in the direction of Prova, who quickly decided to interdict his presence on the track.
The replacement will be Dutch 2021 Formula E World Champion Nyck de Vries.
