Carlos Vieira was truly untouchable, this Sunday afternoon, in the second race of the GT3 Cup at the Spanish circuit of Valencia, starting from pole position and receiving the checkered flag with a difference of 20.437s to Ricardo Costa, who in the last laps managed to overcome Vasco Barros and win the second position.
This second race of round 2 of the GT3 Cup on the Valencian track was much more “calm” than the previous one, with Vieira very quickly standing out from the competition to do a solitary race, while behind him Vasco Barros (winner of the previous race) gained an advantage over Ricardo Costa. However, the truth is that he couldn’t keep it, although he returned, as he had happened a few hours before, to the podium.
Positioning himself very well from the start, Francisco Cruz managed to dig a consistent difference and stand out from both Luís Herrera and João Parreira, the two main “figures” of the GD category and who had Miguel Caetano further behind. Parreira repeated, with all merit, the triumph of the first race and Herrera returned to the podium. In the AM category, Ricardo Costa, the absolute runner-up, did not give the aforementioned Francisco Cruz a chance.
