All restrictions for cars and pedestrians in connection with the celebration of Victory Day

Large-scale events dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day are being held in the center of Moscow from May 4 to 10. In this regard, the metropolitan Deptrans warned drivers and pedestrians about the planned restrictions.

On May 7 and 9, from the opening of the metro until the end of the events, a number of stations in the center are closed for exits. At the same time, entrances and transfers will work. Read more here.
On May 9, from 10:00 until the end of the celebrations, Volgogradsky Prospekt and, in fact, the entire center within the Garden Ring will be blocked. From early morning (approximately 05:30), traffic will be limited on most central streets.
Until May 10, carsharing will not work in the city center: it will be impossible to rent a car and complete the trip.
Cars will not be available for rent due to systems that jam the GPS signal.
For the same reason, navigation works intermittently in the center of the capital. Users of the services report problems with determining the geolocation on maps of Moscow in social networks.
Until May 10, Red Square is also closed to visitors in connection with the Victory Parade.
As previously reported, the launch of drones has been banned in Moscow since May 3.
