Alpine introduced the hot hatch A290_β with the driver’s seat in the middle

There are few technical details yet. The A290_β reportedly has a twin-motor setup, with both electric motors mounted at the front. The serial A290 will have only one electric motor, which, according to preliminary data, will develop 218 horsepower. A similar setup is currently used for the Renault Megane E-Tech.
