ARC accused of installing exploding airbags

At least a few accidents are known when the pillows of this company did not work correctly and exploded – two people died and six more were injured. The problem is that the gas fills the airbag through a single hole in the cylinder body, which can become clogged with welding debris – because of this, the pressure inside the cylinder builds up and it can explode.
ARC airbag cylinders are installed primarily on General Motors vehicles, in particular, they are on the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia.
