AvtoVAZ did not produce cars from April 29 to May 9 due to weekends, May holidays and scheduled corporate holidays. On May 10, the plant returned to work, and on Saturday, May 13, an additional shift was introduced on the Granta and Niva lines. Vesta NG will also be released on weekends – the next two Saturdays of the month are declared working.
At the same time, AvtoVAZ continues to experience problems due to a shortage of components, which is why one day, May 15, the Vesta assembly line was idle. And from May 29, all employees of the plant will go on a three-week paid vacation, which was postponed from July 24 to early May, again due to interruptions in the supply of auto components.
