AvtoVAZ may introduce a working Saturday for the assembly of Lada Vesta NG

On the next weekend, Lada Vesta NG is planned to be assembled on a day shift lasting eight hours. Prior to this, AvtoVAZ had already returned a two-shift schedule to the assembly line of the new Vesta. Whether the plant has enough components to start production on Saturday will become known in the coming days.

The AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti was previously transferred to a six-day schedule until the end of the year. So far, it has been introduced only on the third and fifth lines, from which the Lada Niva SUVs (Legend and Travel) and Lada Granta leave. On May 13, Niva will collect eight hours, and Granta – 12. Workers are paid double this day.
