Since the beginning of 2023, AVTOVAZ has sold 100,000 vehicles, which is 8,000 more than scheduled for May 15. The “anniversary” car – it was the Lada Granta sedan – was sold in the Moscow region.
As noted in the message of the company, cars of the Lada Granta family account for about 70% of all sales of the brand. But the production program of AVTOVAZ is being corrected, and in the near future it is planned to increase the output of Lada Vesta. Thus, the daily assembly pace of Granta and Vesta will equalize.

“Despite the ongoing sanctions pressure and daily risks with the supply of components, AVTOVAZ confirms its plans to produce 400,000 vehicles in 2023. In May, we brought the assembly of Lada Vesta to a two-shift mode – this will allow us to increase the volume of car production in the coming months,” said Maxim Sokolov, President of JSC AVTOVAZ.
