Cars unable to reach 130 km/h will no longer be allowed on the Nürburgring

Now, only cars capable of accelerating to 130 kilometers per hour are allowed to enter the 21-kilometer track, writes Road & Track. Moreover, the limit at once more than doubled: before that, a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour was enough.
In addition, there are other restrictions that apply to participants in tourist races. As for the machines themselves, they must have a mass not exceeding a certain limit, and the aerodynamic elements must not protrude beyond the standard dimensions. Pickups and vans are not allowed on the track.
