Cheaper than the Jolion crossover: the new Haval M6 arrived in Russia ahead of schedule
The brand new Haval M6, discovered by our colleagues from Rossiyskaya Gazeta on one of the classifieds, is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 143 hp. with., a seven-range “robot” with two “wet” clutches and a front-wheel drive system. The package is maximum: eight airbags, keyless entry, climate control, LED optics, heated front seats and a host of other options that make life easier for the driver.
Interestingly, for a crossover in “full stuffing”, the seller, who brought it under the parallel import scheme, asks for 2,299,000 rubles. Even taking into account all sorts of extra charges – the merchant’s profit, compensation for logistics costs and other things – the M6 turns out to be cheaper than the Jolyon, which greedy Haval dealers offer at a price of 2.4 million rubles.
As the AvtoVzglyad portal was told in one of the capital’s car dealerships, it is now impossible to purchase a Jolion in the basic Comfort package – there are no such cars in showrooms, and for some reason orders are not accepted (probably because it is not profitable for dealers to mess with them). That is, the most affordable is the middle version of Elite, but no one will give it away according to the RRP – only with an extra charge of 150,000 rubles.
We add that the prices for the “official” Haval M6 have not yet been announced – most likely, the price lists will be published closer to the start of sales.
