According to experts, many European automakers are now suffering from imports of Chinese cars. Moreover, the greatest competition is made by electric cars from China. So far, some market players believe that Europeans urgently need to develop their own technologies for the production of batteries, while others believe that Chinese firms should be allowed to produce cars in the EU. In the absence of action, European automakers risk losing about seven billion euros of net profit within seven years.
