Photographs and videos posted on social media showed that motorcades of black cars with red and blue flashing lights accompanied the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, as well as the Armenian prime minister, who arrived in Moscow at the invitation of Vladimir Putin. At the same time, license plates from the Special Purpose Garage pool were noticed on the cars.

Since the purchases of FSO vehicles are classified, it is not known whether the “Tanks” replenished the agency’s fleet on an ongoing basis or rented off-road vehicles for events organized in the capital in honor of Victory Day.
