The latter is a pickup truck that is larger than the familiar Toyota Hilux: the VGV S6 reaches 5.64 meters in length against 5.33 meters for the Hilux, and the distance between the axles is 3.47 meters against three meters for the “Japanese”. The S6 is somewhat larger than its closest competitor, the Great Wall King Kong Poer, which, unlike the Toyota Hilux, is officially sold in Russia.

The Chinese Automobiles portal notes that the rear axle of the VGV S6 is equipped with five springs, its load capacity is 495 kilograms, and the entry and exit angles are 29 and 25 degrees, respectively (for comparison, King Kong’s figures are 25 and 20 degrees). The pickup truck is powered by a Weichai diesel engine with a volume of 2.0 liters. It develops 190 horsepower and is paired with an eight-speed automatic. The drive is full, with an electromagnetic clutch.

In the Chinese market, the VGV S6 model costs from 154.2 thousand yuan, which, in terms of rubles at today’s exchange rate, is 1.7 million rubles. In Russia, a pickup can be estimated at about 3.5-3.8 million rubles.
