HE IS THREE YEARS OLD – The DS9 is the well-known sedan with a tail introduced on the market in 2020. It is not yet time for a restyling for it, but in the model year 2023 there are some noteworthy small innovations in technological terms and a new set-up that joins the previous two.
NEW INFOTAINMENT – The main novelty of the DS9 2023 it is the multimedia system DS Iris System, which features a revised and smoother interface, supported by Iris voice recognition. The 12″ touchscreen displays a menu composed of widgets to access all functions with a single movement that controls the 3D connected navigation, air conditioning, digital audio sources and all travel data. The screen also allows you to have a 360° view, provided by the new high-resolution cameras, or to access the mirror screen, CarPlay and Android Auto functions wirelessly or via two USB C ports. The unprecedented connected navigator monitors the conditions of the traffic and calculates the best routes in real time, then the prohibited areas are displayed, including speed limits, weather forecasts, petrol stations or the location of public car parks and charging stations. The multimedia system is then interconnected with the MY DS application.
NEW FITTINGS – The range of DS 9 2023 is enriched with the addition of a third layout, theOpéra, which joins Performance Line+ and Rivoli+, and the new Esprit De Voyage collection. The Opéra is distinguished by the presence of active suspensions DS Active Scan Suspension controlled by cameras (the system allows the suspension to adapt to road imperfections). It also includes the Extended Safety Pack with semi-autonomous driving level 2 compliant, which, among other things, provides for the attention monitoring driver and DS Night Vision (optimizes night vision). In addition there is the Focal Electra audio system, the DS Lounge Pack for the rear passengers, including the rear center armrest in premium leather, the courtesy button to move the front passenger seat forward with respect to the rear seats, the dual automatic climate control -extended area, i seats heated rear, massaging and cooled down, the sunroof, the electric bonnet, the heated windshield and the anti-theft alarm. The Opéra trim level is offered with Nappa leather upholstery with three distinct strap colors: Art Rubis Red interior, Art Basalt Black and the new Pearl Gray interior.
SPIRIT OF TRAVEL – The collection spirit of travelwhich is distinguished by the quality finishes and due to the craftsmanship of some solutions, it features interiors in light leather, with the central console, dashboard and door panel trim in pearl gray Nappa leather. The cabin upholstery is covered in Pearl Gray Alcantara and the interior of the doors also take up this Pearl Gray color, as does the pattern on the front and rear carpets, which feature a special Zéphir stitching. There DS 9 2023 Esprit De Voyage is available in four colours: crystal grey, imperial blue, platinum gray and pearl black.
PLUG-IN HYBRID ONLY – The DS 9 it is available with plug-in hybrid powertrains, ranging from 250 to 360 horsepower. At the top of the range, DS 9 E-Tense 4×4 360, with a 200 HP 4-cylinder internal combustion engine and two electric motors, one 110 HP (integrated in the front gearbox) and the other 113 HP (connected to the rear axle), with an intelligent four-wheel drive transmission. The battery of the electric unit is 15.6 kWh. While the DS 9 E-Tense 250 is equipped with a 200 HP 4-cylinder PureTech engine, combined with a 110 HP electric unit. The battery is still 15.6 kWh and allows you to travel up to 85 km in electric mode.
