Below on the Nasr website, the release date of the car is indicated: its premiere should take place this year. There is no information about the technical component yet. It is only known that the car will receive an electric power plant, and will also be local – most likely, we are talking about the use of local components.
The state automobile company El Nasr Automotive appeared in Egypt in 1960. At various times, its lineup included Italian Fiat, Turkish Tofas, Yugoslav Zastava and Polish FSO Polonez. It stopped producing cars in 2009 with the Dogan and Şahin models, Fiat-based Tofas cars. In 2022, Nasr unveiled a prototype natural gas bus, but it doesn’t appear to have made it to production.
