Fiat factory workers protest over dirty toilets and cold shops


“The plant is dirty, the toilets stink, and coveralls are missing – some employees have to wait months for replacement of old and worn work clothes,” Automotive News quoted the head of the Fiom union unit as saying. Stellantis responded to workers’ claims that the concern “always acts within the framework of employment contracts, treats its employees with respect, and also takes into account the competitive environment of the automotive industry.”
