The model is living its last months.
Mercedes-Benz plans to end production of the CLS coupe sedan. The manufacturer has already stopped taking orders for it. Production will end as early as August in preparation for production of the recently unveiled new generation E-Class, according to a spokesman for Mercedes-Benz Australia.
Most likely, there will be no new generation of the model or a direct successor, since no one has seen such a machine in testing.
The first generation Mercedes-Benz CLS was introduced in 2005. The current one is the third one. In addition to the sedan, the range also includes a shooting brake station wagon.
