IT ALL BEGAN IN 1946 – The Mercedes E Class it has been known as such since 1993, but in reality the “spirit” behind this model germinated much earlier. According to some historians of the brand, in fact, the most remote origins of the three-pointed star luxury sedan could be traced back to the second post-war period and, in particular, to a model born even before the second world war.
Since then, the Stuttgart company has embarked on a path unexplored until then, making medium-large models the backbone of its production and achieving sales volumes never seen before.
