Two Russians who traded fake driver’s licenses were detained in the Republic of Mordovia. According to the republican department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the attackers found clients through social networks, posting ads there. At the same time, the scammers assured those who wanted to become drivers in this way that their data was in the traffic police database.
The cost of the fake driver’s license was 45,000 rubles. And for an additional amount, it was also proposed to issue documents on the successful completion of a driving school. In total, approximately 300 forged documents were produced. Rights were not transferred directly to newly minted drivers, they were sent by mail.

Criminal cases under Art. 159 and 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a preliminary investigation is underway. The detainees are taken into custody.
