Yesterday, sales of two new Haval crossovers, Xiaolong and Xiaolong MAX, began. Despite the similar names, these are machines of different classes that have many differences. The first is a compact crossover, and the second is a mid-size one.
Haval Xiaolong is offered in three trim levels and costs from 139,800 to 156,800 yuan, or approximately 1.6-1.8 million rubles (when imported into the Russian Federation, the price of a crossover will increase by 1.5-2 times, up to million rubles).
This is a front-wheel drive car with a 101-horsepower hybrid power plant (132 Nm), consisting of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor on the front wheels. The length, width and height of the car are 4600, 1877 and 1675 mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2710 mm.
Haval Xiaolong MAX is positioned as a mid-size crossover and costs from 159,800 to 179,800 yuan – from 1.8 million to 2 million rubles (the approximate price in Russia is 2.7-4 million rubles). It is the first model to be equipped with the Hi4 Great Wall intelligent electric hybrid all-wheel drive system.
It consists of a 1.5-liter engine and two electric motors front and rear. The total power of the power plant is 279 horsepower and 585 Nm, and the electric power reserve reaches 105 km.
The length, width and height of Xiaolong MAX are 4771, 1895 and 1725 mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2800 mm.
