As for the Superb, it will be unified with the new Volkswagen Passat, the design will be made in the style of the current Octavia – this information was previously confirmed by Skoda stylist Petr Matushinets. According to rumors, the fourth generation Superb may lose a manual transmission due to the unpopularity of the three-pedal modification in the current generation of the model. The production of new items will be organized at the Volkswagen Group plant in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the new Passat will also be assembled there.
