The Russian Union of Car Services warned in early May that there could be a shortage of spare parts and consumables for Chinese cars in the country. There are several reasons – firstly, the variety of cars from China, which is why service centers need time to stock up on the necessary number of components, and secondly, the unavailability of spare parts catalogs for independent service stations.
Earlier it was reported that the terms of deliveries of imported spare parts in Russia stretched for six months, but this applies primarily to foreign cars Hyundai, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus and Cadillac. According to market participants, the shortage of parts will remain at least until the end of this year.
