Rosatom took over the South Korean manufacturer of batteries for electric cars

Kommersant specifies that Enertech has a small plant and a research and development center. The company had financial problems, but in 2022 it made a profit for the first time in several years – it amounted to 2.96 billion won, or 2.2 million dollars. Rosatom acquired 49 percent of Enertech back in 2021, and increased its share to 98 percent in 2022, follows from the reporting of the South Korean company. Thus, the Russian state corporation became the sole owner of the manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries.
