It is proposed to deprive the owner of the car of the rights, even if he was not driving. However, the world court will make the decision, so the owner will probably be able to influence the outcome of the case by providing the necessary evidence.
The State Duma has already responded to the proposal. LDPR MP Yaroslav Nilov called the idea “premature”: According to him, the cameras must first be trained to accurately determine who is driving the car so that the owner does not have to prove his innocence every time. Deprived of the rights of the owner and can be sent under administrative arrest, he recalled. In addition, he pointed out that there are already enough “deprived” articles in the Code of Administrative Offenses.
