Avtotor, which previously produced BMW, Hyundai, Kia and Genesis, now officially assembles cars from three Chinese brands – BAIC, Kaiyi and SWM. The latter’s crossovers were put on the conveyor quite recently, in mid-April, and they will begin to arrive in car dealerships before the end of May 2023. So far, the three brands produce six models in total, but by the end of the year their number will more than double: seven BAIC, four Kaiyi and three SWM machines will be launched.
Cars, as already known from the previously published presentation, will perform in different segments to cover market demands. “Our goal is to ensure the production of a model range that best meets the interests of Russian consumers,” Avtotor noted.
