The Russian Post has already tested various electric vehicles in Moscow and the Moscow Region, and the tests have shown that this transport is suitable for solving logistics problems and will be cost-effective, the company’s press service reports.

Now new tests of postal WOLV FC25 and EVM PRO have begun in Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg. Cars will operate on intracity routes. WOLV FC25 – in courier delivery, and EVM PRO – for transporting mail from the sorting center and post offices to offices.

The load capacity of the Chinese WOLV FC25 is 800 kg, the speed is 85 km/h, the range is 200 km, fast charging in 4-5 hours.

At 70%, the Russian EVM PRO can carry up to 1 ton, the maximum speed is 120 km / h, the power reserve is 300 km, fast charging in 2 hours.

During operation, the post office will evaluate the efficiency of cargo transportation, as well as reducing the harmful effects on the environment and reducing noise in residential areas.
