A Skoda top manager made it clear in a conversation with Autocar that no one would need a £20,000 Fabia. At the same time, the climate situation will not improve at all if customers cannot afford a new car and continue to use old, polluting cars. The Skoda Fabia currently starts at £18,600 in the UK and €15,000 in mainland Europe.
