The company did not specify the amount of profit in absolute terms received at the end of 2022 – so far it is only known that it is 43 percent less than in 2021. According to Skoda’s financial report last year, operating profit was 628 million euros, and in 2021 – 1.083 billion euros. Thus, according to this indicator, the fall was 42 percent.
Skoda put the business in Russia on pause last spring – since then, no new cars have been produced in the country, and official deliveries have been stopped. Having stopped operations in Russia more than a year ago, Skoda lost about 700 million euros, and global sales for 2022 collapsed by 16.7 percent, to 731.2 thousand copies. In March 2023, it became known that Skoda crossed Russia out of the list of priority markets.
