Presented first in the sedan version and then in the wagon variant, the third generation of the Superb arrived in 2015 and, thanks to the MQB modular platform, could boast the latest technologies in terms of comfort and active safety from the Volkswagen Group. They also increased the number of Simply Clever solutions, such as the 230V socket for rear passengers and umbrellas in the front door panels. The 2019 restyling brought further technological features, such as the Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, and the expansion of the range with the arrival of the Superb iV plug-in hybrid variant. The current one, with 780,000 units, was the best-selling generation in the history of the Superb.
