The truck driver removed the awning from the truck, standing under the power line… In vain! — Driving magazine
The trucker showed what negligence can lead to when being near a high-voltage power line.
The driver filmed a video showing the truck of his colleague from Turkey. According to the driver, a charge of 10,000 volts hit the car. Judging by the video, the car received serious damage.
At first glance, this may not be noticeable, but on one of the tires a burnt mark is visible, along which the charge left the car. In addition, upon impact, the car jumped high, and the right front wheel broke through the asphalt.
As the author of the video said, the driver began to “unawn” (that is, remove the awning of the body), standing under the power line. Careless movement with a metal gaff led to a short circuit.
It is reported that the driver was seriously injured and is currently in intensive care.
