Taxi drivers will be put at their desks to study the sights of Moscow

The new rules will come into effect on September 1, 2023.

Taxi drivers will be required to undergo certification for knowledge of where in Moscow there are cultural monuments, transport facilities, medical and educational institutions, buildings of state authorities. They will also have to study the ways of approaching them and the rules of action in case of emergency. The relevant law on passenger taxis was adopted by the Moscow City Duma.
