The start of production of the eighth generation BMW 5 Series is scheduled for this summer, the market debut – in October. In addition to the electric i5 and mild hybrids with petrol and diesel engines, the family will include the 530e and 550e plug-in hybrids. The flagship of the family, at least until the release of the new M5, will be the modification of the M560e xDrive.
