This means that a special national project is needed. Otherwise, we are doomed to an aging fleet, an increase in deaths and injuries on the roads,” said deputy Sergei Mironov.
It’s just that it’s simply unrealistic to produce cars for that kind of money now: prices have risen literally for everything – from components to logistics. The same LADA Granta, which a couple of years ago cost a little more than 400,000 rubles, is now cheaper than 700,000. Partially, the stimulation of demand is periodically promoted by the state support program, which allows saving up to 20-25% of the cost of a car. But this measure is just a drop in the ocean.
