The ex-Toyota plant in Russia will produce an electric microcar

The L-Type electric microcar of the L7e category (according to the UNECE classifier, this is a heavy quadricycle, similar to the Citroen Ami) will be built on completely Russian components. The compact city car is promised a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour and a power reserve of 183 kilometers. It will be designed for corporate use – in delivery services, medical networks, restaurant business, on the territories of factories and in carsharing.
The “small L-type car” will be presented to the public on May 25-26, and it will be installed on the conveyor of the ex-Toyota plant in 2024. At first, the volume of production will be two thousand cars a year, and then, by 2029, it will grow to 10-14 thousand.
