The first Honda electric car on the new platform will appear in 2025

The arrival of the first electric vehicle based on the e:Architecture EV was announced during Honda’s big technology and electrification presentation. The company announced that it is doubling the staff of developers of the new operating system and introduces a new position of Global User Experience Officer – a person in this position will study customer experience at a global level.
And global plans for Honda are ambitious. The Japanese automaker intends to turn Ohio-based U.S. operations into an electric vehicle manufacturing hub for the North American market by refurbishing and modernizing its East Liberty assembly site and Anna engine plant. In addition, Honda and LG Energy Solution will build a joint venture in Ohio to produce batteries for electric vehicles.
