The head of the press service of KamAZ stressed that “it will not go bankrupt, even if it charges an electric car at these rates.” However, reducing daily operating costs for electric car owners at current tariffs is doubtful, and therefore “the sustainable mode of transport has no chance of becoming widespread.”

However, the general director of KamAZ, Sergey Kogogin, has already instructed to develop a subsidy program for plant workers who bought the Moskvich 3e electric car. In addition, more than 30 electric filling stations will be installed on the territory of the auto giant. Tariffs on charging terminals “for their own” have not yet been disclosed.
