The Hyundai i20 gets an update

ARRIVES BY SEPTEMBER – After just three years it’s time for a restyling for the third generation of the Hyundai i20, which sees the introduction of some aesthetic innovations and new technological features. The arrival in dealerships is expected by September 2023.

REFINED BUT NOT DISTURBED DESIGN – The designers of the Korean house focused on the front of the Hyundai i20, updating the bumper and grille; both now feature a more aggressive design. Also new at the rear where there is a bumper with revised shape and positioning of the fog lights. The 16 or 17″ alloy wheels have also been updated, which now feature a more sporty design.

NEW COLORS – For the Hyundai i20 new body colors are also available: Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Gray Pearl and Meta Blue Pearl, which join Atlas White, Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Gray Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl and Mangrove Green Pearl for a total of eight different shades, to which it will be possible to combine the contrasting roof in black.

COLOR COMBINATIONS – By opting for the Lucid Lime Metallic color it is possible to combine a specific package for the interior of the Hyundai i20 which takes up the hue of the bodywork, with seats with raised texture and lime-colored contrasting stitching. The same color can also be found in the upper part of the door panels. Among the novelties of the interior it is possible to mention the USB type-C, the second generation eCall based on the 4G network and the updates of the Over-the-Air (OTA) maps.

ADVANCED ADAS – The standard safety equipment of the Hyundai i20 is improved, with the anti-collision system active in the city (it recognizes pedestrians and cyclists) and on the motorway, and lane maintenance. Available on request is Smart Cruise Control which uses the navigator to predict curves or straight roads on the motorway and automatically adjusts the cruising speed.

THE ENGINES DO NOT CHANGE – Does not change the equipment of the engines Hyundai i20 which is still made up of the 100 HP three-cylinder 1.0 T-GDi 48-volt mild hybrid, which can be combined with the six-speed iMT manual or the seven-speed DCT automatic, and the 84 HP 1.2 MPI MT petrol.
